Ans: Jadhoji, Bhatt was old. The little hair that he had left on his small bald head was now as white as the snow of the mountains.  His brow, still adorned with holy ash, was furrowed, and his eyes, though deeply sunken, had a bright spark in them showing that he was still alert.

Jadhoji took a piece of paper out of his little cloth bag. He tore the paper neatly down the middle. Then, he wrote something on each half without showing it to the princes. He folded the pieces carefully and held them out. 'On one chit, ‘announced Jadhoji, ‘is the name SURENDRANAGAR and on the other is the name RAMPUR. The remaining twelve villages which are also part of your kingdom will be divided equally between the two of you. Then he ordered, “Now each of you please take a piece of paper.”

Ans: Yes, Arjan Singh acted like an obedient pupil. When Jadhoji ordered, “Now each of you please take a piece of paper.” Arjan Singh reached out and took one of the pieces of paper. ‘Whatever has been decided, ‘he said, good enough for me,' and swiftly, and much to the amazement of his brother, he put the paper in his mouth and swallowed it.

Ans: As Arjan Singh reached out and took one of the pieces of paper. He took one piece of paper and swallowed it.Then, Sabal Singh was most surprised. ‘What is This,’ he exclaimed. ‘You have swallowed the paper without looking at the name on it!’
