Ans:
Oliver, hastily abandoned in the ditch by the desperate Sikes, and hidden only
by a ragged cloak, lay as if dead for a long time.

Ans:
The mist rolled along the ground like a dense cloud of smoke.
3.When
Oliver woke up?
Ans:
As the air grew colder, following that day came and the mist rolled along the
ground like a dense cloud of smoke. Moreover rain fell and soaked Oliver. Then
finally he woke up from bed with a cry of pain.

Oliver could hardly sit up?
Ans:
Oliver was so weak that his arm was useless and the shawl round it soaked in
blood. So, he could hardly sit up.

the world was spinning round the Oliver?
Ans:
Oliver was so weak that he could not move. He could hardly sit up. Trembling
from cold and exhaustion he tried to rise, only to fall back unconscious again.
6.Seeing
the house, why Oliver wanted to run away?
Ans:
Oliver was roaming alone in the road. Then heavy rain roused him and he looked
around and saw a house,seeing the house he knew he must reach to get help. But
when he drew nearer the house he recognized that it was that house where he
went for robbing.So , he wanted to run away.

opened the door?
Ans:
A manservant opened the door.
8.Who
seized Oliver and why?
Ans:
A man behind the manservant seized Oliver as he recognized Oliver as a rover.
9.Who
ordered to bring a doctor for Oliver?
Ans:
Mrs Maylie ordered to bring a doctor for Oliver.
10.How
was Mrs. Maylie?
Ans:
Mrs. Maylie was the owner of the house.SWhe was an elderly lady,but her eye was
bright and her back was straight.
11.Who
was Rose and how she was?
Ans:Rose
was Mrs. Maylie’s adopted girl,the beautiful young lady,was gentle and
intelligent and only seventeen.

Oliver was too young and he might never has known a mother’s love or the
comfort of a home,even if he has been wicked, Rose requested to her aunt not to
take Oliver to prison.

Ans:Mrs
Maylie said Oliver is a wicked boy.

Oliver laid in bad for many weeks?
Ans:
As Oliver’s condition was very pathetic and he was also ill with fever brought
on by the cold and the wet, in addition to the pain of his broken arm, so
Oliver laid in bad for many weeks

Oliver told to Rose?
Ans:He
told Rose one evening that he was very worried about Mr Brownlow and Mrs Bedwin
who had no idea what happened to him and would would think him most ungrateful.
