Few , A few = Countable
Little, a little = Uncountable
Uses of few, a few, little,
a little
Few and little (without a) are negative ideas.( = not many, not
much)
Raghib doesn’t like living in London. He has few friends there.
Raghib is very busy with his job. He has little time for
other things.
A little and a few have a more positive meaning.
A little = some, a small
amount:
Let’s go out and have a coffee. We have a little time before
the train leaves.
A few = some, a small number :
I enjoy my lif]e here. I have a few friends and we meet quite
often.
